Thinking  About  Death  From  Both  Sides --

Bonds  of  Love  With  the  Dying

Sunday,  November  13th,  2011   1:30  pm  (Door  opens  1:15  pm)

Spalding  Hall  Auditorium  #155

University  of  Hawai`i  at  Manoa

  Ticket:  $20

As  human  beings,  nothing  is  more  frightening  than  the   fear  of  death.  For  the  person  who  is  facing  death,  it  means   the  end  of  life,  total  emptiness,  and  leaving  behind  loved   ones.    At  the  same  time,  family  and  friends  are  struggling   to  come  to  terms  with  their  loss.  Death  is  inescapable,  sol- emn,  inevitable.  One  might  say  that  the  whole  meaning  of   life  is  inherently  bound  to  the  inevitability  of  death.

                                              Happy  Way  to  Die--Hideko  Suzuki

Many  people  have  shared  their  moment  of  death  with  Dr.  and  Sister  Hideko  Suzuki.  At  this  seminar,  Dr.  Suzuki  will  share  her  wisdom  &  rich  experience  about  how  to  cope   with  death,  how  to  support  and  strengthen  the  bond  between  family  and  loved  ones  facing  death.  Please   join  us  in  musing  together  on  the  subject  of  death,  which  is,  simultaneously,  a  musing  about  life.  Because   of  the  mature  nature  of  the  subject,  we  respectfully  ask  that  children  not  attend.
